El Monte students honored for green innovations
EL MONTE, Calif., May 7, 2011 - Two students werehonoredSaturday for their innovation and environmentalism and were awarded college scholarships from the local manufacturer Miller Dial.
Longtime California Manufacturer Asks Students to tap their Innovative Side with New Scholarship
Miller Dial, LLC, a manufacturing and engineering company based in Southern California since 1937, and the El Monte Union High School District (EMUHSD) today announced the Miller Dial Young Innovator Scholarship.
Skylab Space Station And Miller Dial
Miller Dial, continuing it’s tradition of supporting the NASA and U.S. space missions was selected to provide all of the nameplates on the Skylab as well as the three missions that utilized Skylab.
In total Miller Dial provided more then 2,000 separate nameplates for the Skylab spacecraft and for the three missions that visited and lived on Skylab.

Miller Dial Employee of 63 Years Takes Temporary Leave of Absence
April 1, 2010 - EL MONTE — Jack Lira, who is 83 years old, will be taking a temporary leave of absence from his position at Miller Dial, based in El Monte, CA. This is Jack's second extended leave of absence in 63 years of employment at Miller Dial. The last time Jack was granted a leave from his tenure at Miller Dial was for military service during the Korean War. He was on leave from October 3, 1952 until his return on November 8th, 1954.

In 1937, Miller Dial was founded as a small metal shop located on the outskirts of Los Angeles to provide metal luminescent dials for the aerospace industry. As our business expanded so did our capabilities.

Miller Dial To Be Sole US Distributor For PSC EMC Products
Miller Dial announced today that they have signed an agreement with PSC, out of Denmark, to be the sole US distributor for their EMC products and coatings. PSC, in business since 1948, has spent the last 20 years focusing only on optical filters for the filtering of light and radio interference in electronic instruments. Known throughout Europe as the leader in their field PSC chose Miller Dial as their exclusive source for US distribution.
